YourMarketingPal (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the YourMarketingPal web application and the WishPal and LaterPal Chrome extensions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment information (credit card details) is processed directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve our products. This includes pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns. We use Vercel Analytics and Sentry for error tracking.

Extension Data

The WishPal and LaterPal Chrome extensions operate within your browser. They interact with Facebook pages you visit to perform automated actions (posting birthday wishes, scheduling posts). The extensions do not transmit your Facebook password or private messages to our servers.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate YourMarketingPal:

  • Neon: Database hosting for user accounts, subscriptions, and product settings.
  • Bunny CDN: Content delivery for uploaded images (birthday images, post attachments).
  • Vercel: Application hosting and analytics.
  • Sentry: Error monitoring and performance tracking.

4. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • ymp_session: Authentication session cookie. Keeps you logged in. Expires when you log out or after 30 days of inactivity.
  • Analytics cookies: Anonymous usage tracking via Vercel Analytics. No personal data is stored in these cookies.

5. Chrome Extension Data

WishPal

WishPal accesses Facebook birthday pages within your browser to detect upcoming friend birthdays and post birthday wishes on their walls or send messages. It does not access private messages, photos, or any other Facebook data beyond what is needed for birthday wish automation.

LaterPal

LaterPal accesses Facebook within your browser to publish scheduled posts to your profile and groups. It opens tabs, creates posts, and optionally adds first comments. It does not access private messages or data beyond what is needed for post scheduling.

Both extensions store your preferences and settings locally in Chrome storage and sync them with your YourMarketingPal dashboard. No Facebook credentials are transmitted to or stored on our servers.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove all your personal data, templates, settings, and uploaded images within 30 days. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained for product improvement.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Export: Request a machine-readable export of your data.
  • Correct: Update or correct your personal information at any time from your dashboard.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure session handling, and regular security audits. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe using PCI DSS-compliant infrastructure.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
